Hi Friends and Readers!
I’m doing a quick post today for several reasons. The major reason is that I have been neglecting too much of my own life in order to develop the website here and to write my posts each day — which I love doing! — but I cannot forfeit everything else for the sake of getting a daily post up.
Yesterday I discovered a bill, due that day, which should have been paid already — I paid it online, so all was fine. But it was my wake-up call that I’m neglecting personal duties in order to be here.
I told you in a post the other day that Christmas is my favorite season. And, without a doubt, it is. But as of today, I do not even have one Christmas decoration put up in my home, nor do I have my tree up. Unheard of, for me!
So, today I am taking some time for myself and my family. My daughter will come over for dinner this evening — and we may watch a Christmas movie, or maybe football — but either way we will enjoy our time together.
I have a simple project For You for today, or whenever you happen to read this post.
Will you please leave a comment in the comment/reply box? Let me know at least one topic that you would like me to write about — maybe an issue you are having as a caregiver, or a question, or any topic dealing with Weathering Your Storm. I will read the comments, reply, and then try to write on as many topics as I am qualified to write on, each in a separate post or put together if the topics are similar. I already have one topic suggested by a reader who is a caregiver: she wants to know “what do you do when you are the only caregiver and you become ill or hospitalized?” I will be addressing the issue in an upcoming post.
So, enjoy your day today! Make it a great day! I will be bringing some Christmas joy into my home!
Good topic!
